Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly

Request for Applications

The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), as stipulated in the 12VAC30-120-1060, requires that any expansion of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), shall be on a schedule and within an area determined solely at the discretion of DMAS through a Request for Applications (RFA) process. No organization shall begin any new PACE program without going through the RFA process.

CMS and NPA

Virginia’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) works in partnership with other organizations to ensure the health, safety and welfare of its participants. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and the National PACE Association (NPA) are organizations that are instrumental in helping the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS), the State Administering Agency and Virginia PACE programs carry out the services that will enable participants to live safely and appropriately in their homes and communities.
