Pharmacy Assistance Program Task

"The Pharmacy Assistance Program (PAP) Task Force has been formed in response to House Bill 1624 and Senate Bill 841 which were passed by the 2005 Virginia General Assembly. This legislation directs the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) to convene a task force to identify ways to enhance, coordinate, and integrate existing prescription drug assistance programs with the new Medicare Part D drug benefit. DMAS will submit a report to the Governor and the 2007 Session of the Virginia General Assembly outlining the Task Forces findings and final recommendations.
