Day Support Provider Relief
The Virginia Medicaid agency has resumed processing applications for funds after a temporary pause earlier this year pending General Assembly action.
Providers who submitted applications and expense documentation before April 30, 2021: You do not need to reapply. We will review your submission and contact you.
Providers who submitted validated expenses in the Fall of 2020 but did not receive all requested funds due to the capped reimbursement structure: You may be considered for additional reimbursements beyond those you received during the first round, pending availability of funds.

Hazard Payments
Governor Ralph Northam announced that aides and attendants who provided personal care services to Medicaid members from March 12, 2020, through June 30, 2020, qualify for a one-time hazard payment of $1,500 (employee taxes will be deducted from the final payment). More information will be added as it becomes available. Email questions to: HazardPay@dmas.virginia.gov.
