Effective June 1, 2023, Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus (CCC Plus) members will use a new website to choose a Medicaid health plan, learn about benefits, and search for in-network providers. The website, VirginiaManagedCare.com, will replace the existing CCCPlusva.com website, and is organized in a familiar manner. As of June 1, 2023, CCCPlusva.com will automatically redirect members to the new website going forward.

The dates of open enrollment are changing for all Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus (CCC Plus) members. Starting in 2023, your open enrollment dates depend on where you live.

Your Cardinal Care Medicaid health coverage offers many benefits and services. The complete list of benefits is located in your Member Handbook on your health plan's website. Your Member Handbook is a great tool to help answer many of your questions. The following are just a few of your covered Medicaid services:

Your Virginia Medicaid coverage includes many basic health benefits. While some plans offer additional services, it’s important to know the benefits that are covered under any plan you choose.

Your care coordinator is a resource to help you make sure you are getting the health services you need. Your care coordinator works with you to create a personalized care plan to meet your health needs and preferences, and helps answer questions about your health care.

You may need long-term support due to illness, injury, a disability, or other conditions. Medicaid has you covered. If you are in one of those situations, you may be enrolled in the Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus program. You will receive a Care Coordinator who will work with you to ensure you will receive the care you need.

Having a health care plan that meets your needs is important. During Medicaid Open Enrollment you can change your health plan for any reason. For some Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus members, open enrollment starts October 1 and ends December 31, 2021. For others, open enrollment starts November 1 and ends December 31, 2021. We will send you a letter by mail with your dates and plan selection packet.

Your prescription drugs are covered at no cost to you under your health plan. Learn the necessary requirements so that you can receive your authorized prescriptions with ease.

As a CCC Plus member, your transportation to Medicaid services is covered by your health plan (or their transportation broker) if you do not have another way to get there. You can call Member Services to ask for the transportation phone number, or it may be listed on the back of your Member ID card.
