A health plan is managed by a private insurance company with a network of doctors and other medical providers working together to give you comprehensive health care. This may also be referred to as a Managed Care Organization, or MCO.

The Open Enrollment Period is almost over for some Medallion members. If you are currently eligible to change your health plan, you should have received a yellow letter in the mail with more information. The deadline to make a change is December 31, 2021.
Connect With Your Doctor
Once you select your health plan, it’s time to choose your primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP is your family doctor who provides most of the health care you will ever need. He or she will also refer you to other providers for more specialized care.
