Expedited Enrollment for Out-of-State Providers

In response to the impact of Hurricane Ida in Louisiana, the Louisiana Medicaid Office has implemented an expedited provider enrollment process for out-of-state providers to receive reimbursement for services provided to Louisiana Medicaid recipients who have temporarily relocated or evacuated to another state.

If you meet the FAMIS income limits and are either a pregnant woman or have a child, we may have coverage for you. Apply for our FAMIS or FAMIS Moms programs to help protect your child’s future. FAMIS is for children, and FAMIS Moms is for pregnant women.

Important Notice on DME Recall

On June 14th, 2021 the FDA announced that certain models of CPAP, BiPAP and ventilators from Philips Respironics were being recalled.  Philips is instructing any patient using an affected CPAP or BiPAP device, to discontinue use of the affected units and talk to your doctor.  Philips is instructing patients using an affected life-sustaining ventilator to continue treatment until they are able to discuss treatment options with their physician.
