Virginia Medicaid will soon return to our normal enrollment process for health care coverage, and we need your help to spread the word. All Medicaid members need to update their contact information so they continue to receive high quality health care coverage.

You can use the Virginia Department of Health’s COVID-19 Vaccine Request Portal to easily look up your COVID-19 vaccine record for free. 


Important COVID-19 Vaccine Update: A Second Booster Dose is Available to Those 50 and Older

The FDA recently approved a second Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 booster shot for:

  • People 50 and older
  • People ages 12-49 with some long-term medical conditions (Please consult your doctor if you might be eligible.)

Once you select your health plan, it’s time to choose your primary care provider (PCP)A PCP is your doctor who provides most of the health care you will need. Your PCP may also refer you to other providers for more specialized care.
